CitroSul is the result of a partnership with the Moreto Group, created to strengthen citrus farming in the Centenário–RS region. Our project began in 2023 with the installation of a modern orange processing plant for the production of FCOJ, focusing on agricultural diversification and the enhancement of small farms. We seek to be more than just an industry: we want to be partners with producers, offering technical support, marketing guarantees, and promoting sustainable development in the countryside.
CitroSul Indústria e Comércio de Sucos LTDA is a project that was born with purpose, vision for the future, and a deep respect for the land and the people who work on it. Since 2023, we have been operating in Centenário, Rio Grande do Sul, with a modern and sustainable structure focused on orange processing and the production of frozen concentrated orange juice (FCOJ), limonene oil, and other by-products derived from citrus farming.
Our work goes beyond industrial production. Citro Sul is part of a movement that seeks to transform the reality of rural areas in southern Brazil. We work side by side with local and national farmers, offering technical support, planting incentives, and marketing guarantees. Our goal is to promote agricultural diversification, especially for small farms, adding value to production and strengthening the countryside with real opportunities for growth.
We invest in technology, traceability, and good sustainability practices to ensure high-quality products that meet national and international market standards. Our production structure was designed to make the most of the fruit, minimizing environmental impacts and reusing by-products in an intelligent and responsible manner.

How it works
Our Process
Origin and Quality of Raw Materials
We work with selected oranges from partner producers who adopt sustainable cultivation practices and strict phytosanitary control. Harvesting is carried out at the ideal point of ripeness, prioritizing high soluble solids content and uniform fruit quality.
Processamento Industrial de Alta Tecnologia
At the automated industrial plant, the fruit undergoes washing, selection, and extraction. The concentrated juice (FCOJ) is obtained through extraction and vacuum evaporation processes, preserving nutrients and sensory characteristics. The peel is used to obtain limonene oil through steam distillation, ensuring purity and yield.
Sustainability and Reuse
All orange waste, such as pulp and cells, is reused in industrial processes, especially in the formulation of animal feed and composting, reinforcing our commitment to the circular economy and environmental sustainability.
Quality, Packaging, and Logistics
Each batch undergoes rigorous laboratory testing (physical-chemical, microbiological, and sensory). After approval, the products are securely packaged and stored under controlled conditions, ensuring quality until they reach the end customer, both in Brazil and abroad.
